INTERNATIONAL SUMMER CAMP – ENGLISH LEARNING IN NOVA SCOTIA (CANADÁ) – STUDENTS BETWEEN 12 – 17 YEARS OF AGE.
The Summer camp is integrated within the campus of a prestigious University in Nova Scotia, located only 50 minutes away from Halifax.
You will be living together with other boys and girls from different nationalities, who are students like you in this residential summer camp in Nova Scotia. Facilities include indoor pool, sport centres and state-of-the-art technology. You will be accommodated in the campus students’ residence, in a twin room shared with other student from a different nationality.
Mount Royal has planned a set of visits – twice a week – including: Halifax, Peggys Cove, water park, Lunenburg, Sugar Moon Farm, canoeing…,
In addition to these tours, an extensive program of local visits and activities is available, such as shopping, rafting, soccer, paintball, movies, bowling, etc.
The summer camp fee includes:
English classes (3 hours per day) by expert English teachers (English as a Second Language – ESL).
Accommodation at the students’ residence – twin room shared with another international student.

SUMMER CAMP INCLUDING BILINGUAL PROGRAM (ENGLISH/FRENCH) LIVING WITH A CANDIAN FAMILY. +16 YEARS OF AGE STUDENTS (MONTREAL)
This summer camp offers a unique language and cultural experience. Located in one of the largest cities in Canada, our homestay program in Montreal is ideal for those students who wish to experience a full language immersion, in English or French, and the opportunity to live with an English/French-speaking family as one of them. In evenings and weekends you will enjoy your time with your family and new friends.
Single room accommodation.
Mount Royal provides single rooms at the Canadian host families’ houses. These host families are selected based on their willingness to host international students as another member of the family.
Rooms are equipped with bed and wardrobe. A quiet space for study is provided either in your private room or somewhere else in the house. As a general rule, the bathroom is shared with the family.
The students have free access to the common areas of the house.
Families speak English or French as requested.
Meals
Full board. 3 daily meals provided by the host family.
Breakfast and dinner are served at home and shared with the family whenever possible. For lunch (Monday to Friday), the host family will provide well-balanced and healthy food that students can take to the school.

Language level test (first day).
Due to the bilingual scope of the Montreal program, the students at the summer camp must choose the target language of preference. If a bilingual option is chosen, classes will be taught in one of these languages while the host family will speak the other language.

On Sundays, students enjoy some time with their host families, improving their oral skills in English/French and learning about daily life in Canada. They can also take part in recreational activities at home or in the city, such as local summer festivals, sports or shopping.
Daily fun:
Everyday in the afternoon, the students at the summer camp will take part in fun social activities or visits to the most popular places in Montreal. They will be able to get familiar with the culture and people of this beautiful city.

Language
Regular/international French is the standard used in French dictionaries and higher education, the language used by the media and by the Government and communication companies. While students can get familiar with the colloquial language used at the streets (known as “Québeçois”), the teachers at the campus will only use the international version.
LIVING WITH A LOCAL FAMILY
During the applying stage, students can choose if they want to live with an English-speaking family, a French-speaking family or a bilingual one. Host families are carefully selected based on their willingness to provide accommodation, comfort and a full cultural experience to international students. The homestay option at the summer camp is the best way to experience a full immersion for those students who wish to become a part of the Canadian culture.

ESL SUMMER CAMP IN VANCOUVER LIVING WITH A CANADIAN FAMILY. ENGLISH PROGRAM FOR 15-16 YEARS OF AGE STUDENTS
English classes combined with recreational and sport activities, as well as tours and visits.

RESIDENTIAL SUMMER CAMP IN IRELAND ORIENTED TO ENGLISH LEARNING FOR 11 – 17 YEARS OF AGE STUDENTS
Although Mount Royal is mainly focused on Canada, the demand by the Spanish market has led us to introduce a residential summer camp in Ireland providing 2, 3 and 4 weeks programs exclusively in July.
This is the ideal program for teenagers travelling abroad for the first time.
Accommodation:
Small rooms for 2-3 students or bigger dormitories for 5-8 students.
15 students per class maximum (different nationalities).
Highly qualified teachers.
Communicative methodology to improve fast learning
Language level test (first day).
4 levels (beginner to advanced).

The summer camp includes:
Round trip flight (Madrid – Dublin – Madrid)
English classes – 15 class hours per week
Weekly tours (1 full day and another one ½ day).

Leisure time in the afternoon is optional for elder students, while the younger ones are under continuous supervision by the staff in all the activities outside the camp.
